Employment Program Manager, Center for Independent Living in Central Florida, Inc.

Description: The Employment Program Manager will supervise the Employment Department.  S/he will ensure comprehensive staff orientation and training, and performance management.  The Employment Program Manager is responsible for oversight of program requirements and outcomes.  S/He will maintain relationships with program funders. S/He is responsible for development, implementation, and oversight of new components of the program.  The Employment Program Manager is responsible for the maintenance and expansion of the Business Advisory Council.  S/He is responsible for the employment responsibilities of the agency Strategic Plan.  The Employment Program Manager is responsible for funding source/program compliance and for the program related component of agency accreditation by CARF. All work responsibilities are subject to having performance goals and/or targets established as part of the annual performance planning process or as the result of organizational planning. S/He will adhere to CIL Standards and must be available and willing to work a non-standard workweek, including flexible schedules, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • Ability to use computer with standard and customized software, and usual office equipment
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Planning:  ability to think ahead to ensure achievement of goals
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
