Position Available: Executive Director
The ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia, Inc. (ECNV) seeks a qualified Executive Director (ED).
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Board President, ED directs the day-to-day business of the ECNV, including its programs, finances, personnel and property. The ED is responsible for implementing policies set by the Board, achieving ECNV goals and objectives, pursuing new and increased funding and membership, and building effective relationships with public and private stakeholders that will benefit ECNV.
Essential duties & responsibilities: Central Management; Strategic Planning and Implementation; Fundraising and Membership; Staff Management & Supervision; Communication and Outreach.
Requirements: 4 years of relevant experience in the executive administration of a non-profit, of which at least 1 year of such executive experience involved direct responsibility for disability issues.
