IL Specialist, Southwestern Center for Independent Living (Marshall, MN)

Description: Southwestern Center for Independent Living (SWCIL), is seeking an Independent Living (IL) Specialist for Murray, Rock, and Nobles Counties. Full time: 40 hours per week during normal business hours. Must have knowledge of disabilities and their characteristics, reliable transportation, and pass a DHS background study. Primary job functions include: providing independent living skills training, advocacy, and peer counseling services to individuals with disabilities including youth in schools and adults in the community. This position will also provide benefit planning services in coordination with the area Workforce Center.
